Quizgecko is an AI study tool that turns notes, PDFs, slides, and videos into practice quizzes, flashcards, study notes, and audio reviews for exam prep.
About
Quizgecko is an AI-powered study platform that converts a student's own material—notes, PDFs, lecture slides, web links, images, audio, and videos—into structured courses built around active recall. Instead of passively rereading material, learners get practice quizzes, flashcards, study notes, and audio reviews generated from the sources they already trust, which makes revision more targeted and measurable.
The workflow is straightforward: a user uploads their material, Quizgecko builds a course from it, and the system tracks quiz results and activity completion so the learner can see which topics need more attention. Content can be edited, reorganized, and adjusted in difficulty, and study continues on a mobile app. Quizgecko states that more than 2.5 million students use the platform, with particular depth in nursing, medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, and law exam preparation. The company also offers an API for programmatic quiz and course generation.

Who It's For
Quizgecko is aimed primarily at students preparing for high-stakes exams and demanding courses, especially in nursing, medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, and law. Typical users include NCLEX candidates, medical students doing USMLE-style revision, pharmacy students preparing for NAPLEX, and law students working through bar-prep material. It also suits university students in subjects like psychology and biology, professionals studying for certifications such as IT exams, and tutors or educators who want to turn existing material into practice activities.
