Homeworkify is a free AI homework helper that solves homework problems by chat or photo upload, with step-by-step explanations for students across subjects.
About
Homeworkify is an AI-powered homework helper that aims to make homework less frustrating for students. Instead of leaving a learner stuck on a single problem, it provides answers together with step-by-step explanations so the reasoning behind each solution is visible, not just the final result.
The service is operated by Lumination AI Ltd, a company based in London, United Kingdom, and the site states that it is powered by OpenAI technology. Students interact with Homeworkify either by chatting about a problem or by uploading a photo of it, after which the system returns a worked explanation. Although the homepage emphasizes math tutoring, the company says the platform is designed to cover a broad range of academic subjects. A free tier is available, with paid plans that raise daily usage limits, and the site lists iOS, Android, and Chrome extension versions as forthcoming.

Who It's For
Homeworkify is aimed primarily at students, from high school through college, who want help working through homework problems rather than just receiving answers. It suits learners preparing for exams who need quick, explained solutions, as well as anyone who gets stuck outside classroom hours when a teacher is not available. It may also help parents who want a tool that clarifies how a problem is solved so they can support their children. Users with heavy daily needs would likely outgrow the free tier's two-uses-per-day cap and consider one of the paid plans.
