Facetune is an AI-powered photo and video editing app by Lightricks for retouching selfies, changing hairstyles and outfits, and creating polished social media content.
About
Facetune is a photo and video editing application built around self-portrait retouching, offering tools that fix lighting, remove blemishes, adjust facial features, whiten teeth, and apply makeup digitally. It addresses a common problem for social media users: getting a polished, share-ready image from an ordinary phone photo without professional editing skills or a photoshoot.
The app is developed by Lightricks, an Israeli software company known for consumer creativity apps. Facetune works through a combination of manual retouching tools and AI-assisted features, such as an AI headshot generator, virtual hairstyle and hair color try-ons, a clothes changer, background removal, and object removal. Beyond editing, it includes analysis tools like a color analysis feature and a face shape detector that suggest flattering styles. It is available as a mobile app and through a browser-based online editor at facetuneapp.com.
